If the Oracle at Delphi were confined to medical questions, and you could have that wisdom at your fingertips...well, that pretty much sums up what this app delivers. Expensive? Not when you consider the functionality, completeness, and elegance of this application. Constantly upgraded and updated with the latest knowledge, it has quickly become my go-to source in nursing school, and I have a feeling it shall be my favorite reference for years to come. Many apps promise the moon...this is the only one that delivers. Run, dont walk...you found it.

It was a nice app while my year subscription lasted. When the subscription ended, the app wouldnt let me have access to it without resubscribing for approx $97. I eMailed customer support twice but the dude acts like one of those parents that refuse to believe their crooked kid (app) can ever do wrong.

With this one App students and practicing nurses can have every clinical resource they need at their fingertips! I highly recommend this app for my students!

I definitely recommend this app to nursing students. I love it, and it has been very helpful to me thus far. I am very thankful to my instructors for making it mandatory for us to download the app and use.

I have found some great apps to find normal lab ranges, drug interactions and other such medical necessities, but those were either geared towards a doctor or simply had half of the information I needed (or way too much and then I have to sort through pages of info). This APP seems perfect for a student nurse! Everything I need (in the format that I am looking for) and best of all, it is paid for through my school program! If you are a nursing student ask your instructors or program directors if they can get your cohort access. It is well worth it!

I HAD to purchase this app for school and I barely use it. I spent nearly $150 on this app and I still have to turn to free web sites like Mayo Clinic or nih for further info. If I wasnt required to buy this app I never would have bought it.

This app is required in our ADN program. I use it everyday. Its pretty helpful, a tad bit difficult to navigate.

Good information but I can never use the app when I need it. There are way too many updates whenever I need to open the app. It becomes a nuisance when you need information but cant get it.

I purchased Nursing Central instead of the three book pack for nursing school, a far more practical option compared to dragging basically dictionaries and encyclopedias to clinicals where space is a premium and none can be carried in my scrub pockets while on the floor which is where I need these reference books. So this feature is huge in its self. I also purchased two other apps in the same family of Unbound Medicine apps, the Nursing Pocket Diagnosis, and the Taylor Handbook of Clinical Nursing Skills. Despite many the advantages of having these apps all available within one app that I can keep in my pocket and use at any time during my clinicals (my hospital has conceded to the fact that people can get far more done, and learn far more by have immediate internet access or access to apps such as these while on duty, so my hospital allows us to have and use our phones while on the floor). Overall this is a good product, I wish Unbound would make necessary improvements to make these apps more functional. One major issue I have and this is just completely unacceptable is the fact the NANDA Dxs are out of date. They are only current till the last NANDA convention, I think as of 2014, this app doesnt reflect new diagnoses, discontinued, or modified diagnoses, that is entirely unacceptable. It does not include Fluid Volume, Deficit. NANDA is a living breathing entity that is reviewed and updated every two years and this app needs to be continuously updated to reflect this fact. I could go on and on about several of the many smaller problems but I wont. I still recommend this app but it needs many updates.

I purchased the bundle and it was the best purchase I made in nursing school. Definitely worth the money.

This app is hands down the best way for me to gain the information I am looking for during my Nursing classes and even for clinical reference and Patient Care Plans. You will not be disappointed!

Absolute "must-have-app!" Easy to navigate, with current, concise information. Excellent for nursing school and beyond.

Very few night shifts go by that I dont use this app for something. The instant access to drug compatibility tables, drug interactions, dosages, etc make this app invaluable. At about $100/yr for year-round product updates and support, this is an absolute must-have product for serious nursing! I also highly recommend the IV medication book add-on if youre one who administers many IV medications. You wont be disappointed!

CONVENIENT. Not just because you are not having to lug around the books it replaces but also because the data is more easily accessible and far better organized than eBooks. The Glimpse feature is phenomenal. Download the app and try it. But buy it from Unbound, not the AppStore. You may be eligible for a deep discount if you already have one of the bundled apps. Also, there are add-ons like "IV Medications" that you may need. This app is totally worth having but I hope the renewal price is reduced in the future as I dont want to be spending al that cash every year for the rest of my nursing career. Only four stars for its high price.
